All OKIHost Internet Servers are now protected by TippingPoint, an innovative Intrusion Prevention System. The TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) delivers the most powerful network protection in the world. As packets pass through the IPS, they are fully inspected to determine whether they are legitimate or malicious. New filters are continuously fed to the IPS to keep it up-to-date against the latest vulnerabilities. Each filter can be thought of as a "Virtual Software Patch" that is created within the network to protect Servers from attack.

Blocked packets to each Server are logged and monitored by our system administrators on a daily basis.

Cisco Guard
DDoS Mitigation

All Data Centers which OKIHost Internet utilize Cisco Guard which provides some of the most robust and sophisticated denial-of-service defense currently available to protect the networked assets supporting our operations. These systems protect our Servers from network flood denial-of-service attacks with the Cisco Guard XT 5650. When the Data Center detects a possible network flood attack, the Cisco Guards divert traffic destined for the targeted site and process the flows with sophisticated filtering, anomaly recognition, and protocol analysis to identify and block the attack while forwarding legitimate traffic to its destination.
